Snow and ice world
Outside Skyblock, eligible terrain becomes Snow and Ice, with conversion depth reduced at higher effect counts. Eligible chests can receive Presents; with Continuous Christmas, an existing Guide can be replaced by Santa outside Skyblock. Skyblock separately attempts Snow and Ice islands.
World changes
During generation, each eligible existing chest has a 1 in 2 chance of receiving Present. Later effects can change its contents.
An eligible chest contains an item in slot 2 and an empty slot found from slot 2 onward. Scanning stops at the first missing chest.
With Continuous Christmas, outside Skyblock, an existing Guide can be replaced by Santa Claus during generation.
